1st Colour the hearts. 

2nd Number them 

3rd Play and enjoy with the dominoes

Find the equals shapes

Learning the colours by heart

As teachers we know that, for students learn the contents, in this case, the colours, we should repeat the activity in different ways. What do you think of this lovely materials?

For this activity you will need:

• Activity instruction with pictos' from ARASSAC.
  

• Foami heart shapes.

• 4 plastic cup teas.

• 4 colours' pictos from ARASSAC.

• Plastic box for the foami heart shape. 

When the student finishes, the teacher can play the following video. Giving the instruction to the student.

Tea time colours

For this activity you will need: 

• Activity instruction with pictos' from ARASAAC.

• 4 plastic tea cups.

• Mini colour sticks ( Red, blue, green and yellow)

• Colour pictos' cards from ARASAAC (size 6 x 6 cm) 

• Plastic box for the sticks. 

Teacher introduces the  name of the 4 basic colours (red, blue, green and yellow)  again with the pictos' cards and put them in front of the student.
Then, the teacher shows to the student the activity instruction.
After that, the teacher put four plastic cups and a box full of colour sticks. The teacher shows to the student how to do the activity.
Finally, the student has to put each stick in its colour. 

Red and red, blue and blue

For this activity you will need:

• Instruction activity with pictos from ARASAAC

• 4 colour stick (red, blue, yellow, green)

• 4 pieces of magnet ( You should glue them on the colour sticks)

• Colour paperclips

• Opcional picto's cards from ARASAAC with the name of the colours

Teacher gives the materials to the student. 

Then, teacher shows one by one the sticks and repeats the name of the colours. 

After that, the student has to recognize the colour of the paperclips and sticks them in the right place.

 

Once, the student knows how to do the activity and the name of the colours orally, teacher adds the picto's card behind the sticks to help the student to learn the names of the colours in the written form. 

Step further! Match the pictos

Students have to find the equals. Stick one of the picto on the plastic glass and put the equal in front of the plastic glass. 

HURRAY!

Another idea for learning the school materials :)

Following the previus activity with the same school materials, which are:

• 3 plastic glasses.

• real school materials.

• pictos of the school material you want to learn from ARASAAC.

• fastening tape or velcro.

Teacher put the school materials in the plastic glasses and the student has to recognize the pictos and stick them on the plastic glasses. 

Then, the student has to find the same picto and put it on the table. 

Repeat it with all the objects as many times as the student wants.

• 3 plastic glasses 

• real school material

• Pictos of the school material you want to learn from ARASAAC. 

• Fastening tape or velcro.

Teacher puts the school material in the plastic glasses and the student has to recognize the picto and stick it on the plastic glasses. Repeat it with all the objects as many times as the student wants.
